Class Mod Info - Wizard/WizardessDescription: The Wizard(ess) class aims to meet the role/description of the Dream Mage class: "The ultimate Mage that can use all magic." It represents the ultimate magic class that the MC can obtain, utilizing all of the magic spells that the MC can learn (does not include skills from other hidden classes that the MC doesn't learn like the druidess, ritualist, etc). The wizard also boasts the highest MP, MAT and MDF among the classes! It is not without its weaknesses however, as the class suffers from a particularly low DEF & AGI (argueably the most powerful stat).These weaknesses can be addressed pre-battle with Magic Shield and Sprint though, and the high-mana-cost and JP skill requirements are offset by putting a quicker end to gold/JP-producing battles. |

| Notes: 1) This is an end-game class for the mage. Unless you already have a mage character that has unlocked the Dream Mage class, you won't be able to take full advantage of it yet. 2) I made some "11th hour" additions as I keep hearing that the mage class in underpowered. I don't see that being the case, but made some equipment boosts for any who want to try them out. Note that these also are end game items. - Warlox staff (given after mage guild quests) - White Dragon (mages were left out of the dragon item goodies so the white bow is now a scepter) - Reya armor (only obtainable in NG+) 3) I plan to make some mods that are helpful in earlier parts of the game at a later time. If you have beaten the game and just want to quickly test the most diverse class in the game, I plan to add a speed-boost option to NG+ in the not-too-distant future. |
